Linux Gaming and Proton

It’s nice to be able to run Steam on Linux and many ‘Windows’ titles on Linux using Steam and Proton.
It does add some overhead in terms of taxing system resources. But considering the overhead off running Windows in general, I think Linux is still a better option.

So these are the temps of the GPU which is an N-Vidia GTX-1650 Laptop Graphics Adapter (not terribly powerful but good enough)

When the game starts and the Shaders are processing, and game is using a Proton emulator, all 8 processor cores are peaking.

Once the shaders are done you can see a big difference in the average temperature.

Once everytrhing is loaded I can still hit 60 FPS so no real complaints
